Come To The LHDC May Cookout!

LHDC May Cookout
Thursday, May 10th, 2012
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Reifs Tavern
302 East 92nd St (Between 2nd and 1st)
Backyard
Free!

Spring has sprung! After the winter-that-wasn’t, it’s time to get back outside and enjoy some fresh air. Reif’s Tavern, one of the many businesses in our district that has been hit by the Second Avenue Subway construction, has a jewel of a backyard hidden out back. We’ll be taking it over up on Thursday, May 10th, at about 6:30pm for hamburgers, hot dogs, something vegatarian, and whatever else we can scrummage up for a cookout! There will be plenty of soft drinks to go around, and a cash bar for everything else.

Bring friends! Bring neighboors! Bring anyone who you’d like to introduce to the club! You never know what candidates and elected officials might show up and speak on the legendary Reif’s Back Stairs.

If you have any dietary restritcions, shoot over an email to dillon@lenoxhilldems.org and we’ll figure something out.

We are especially pleased to announce that this year the club will be honoring:
State Assemblyman Micah Kellner

Assembly Member Kellner represents New York’s 65th Assembly District which encompasses the Upper East Side, Yorkville and Roosevelt Island. Since his election in 2007, Assembly Member Kellner has become the State’s leading advocate for people with disabilities and has fought to improve the lives of everyday New Yorkers. This past year, he played a crucial role in expanding access in New York City’s transportation system for people with disabilities.

A regular event ticket will be $125. The event cost for dues paying members of the Lenox Hill Democratic Club is $100 per ticket and can be purchased at the door.
