Just a reminder that tonight we’re having our monthly meeting tonight and will be hearing from Comptroller John Liu. John will be discussing the challenges he has faced in office, the current affairs of the city, and answering questions from our members.

Pizza, snacks and soda will be served.

Thank You From Judge Harold Adler

We received a kind note this week from Judge Harold Adler:

Dear Lenox Hill officers and members,
   I want to thank you for your help and for the wonderful time we spent together getting petition signatures earlier this year, never an easy task. Your advice and presence was helpful and uplifting.

After receiving our endorsement this spring, Harold was a fixture on street corners, subway stations and greennmarkets throughout the Upper East Side campaigning for office, explaining judicial elections, and sharing stories from his lengthy legal career.

Harold didn’t stop campaigning even after securing his nomination by both major parties. Until polls closed on Tuesday night, he could still be found out with his ever present “Re Elect Harold Adler” button answering questions from voters from all over Manhattan’s 6th Municipal Court District.

Last Tuesday, Judge Adler was successfully elected to another ten year term on the bench.
