Summer Celebration

Lenox Hill Democratic Club Summer Celebration
July 26th, 7-10pm
Doc Watson’s
(Downstairs and Patio)
1490 2nd Ave, between 77th and 78th
Cash Bar

On Tuesday, July 26th at 7pm, the Lenox Hill Democratic club will be hosting a get together to celebrate the summer and to toast to the end of petitioning season. We’ve been very busy collecting the signatures needed to get all of our endorsed candidates on the ballot, and now it’s time to recognize all we’ve done and look forward to the rest of the year ahead of us.

So stop by, grab a drink, and spend some time with friends old and new. If you’ve been thinking of introducing a friend to the club, or even reintroducing yourself, this will be a great night to get to know who we are and what we are all about.

We have reserved the downstairs (below the main floor) and rear patio of Doc Watson’s. After you enter, walk 3/4 of the way to the back, and go down the stairs on your left just past the end of the bar. We’ll be hard to miss and hope to see you there.

Final Week of Petitioning

Even though this is the last week of petitioning, we still have a few dates for you to come out and help get our candidates on the ballot for 2011. Please join us as your time allows, but especially this Wednesday, July 6th from 5:30 to 7pm, when we are meeting at 76th Street and 2nd Avenue. As usual, we’ll find a local venue afterwards to relax and enjoy ourselves. We’ve all worked very hard this year, and now is time to end it on a high note

If you can, be sure to check in with Jean ahead of time at Jean(at)micahkellner.net or give her a call at (917) 558-3198 if you’re planning to come. And if you’re the kind of person who wants to venture out on your own, give her a ring, and she’ll make sure you have all the clipboards and petition sheets you might need.

To locate the group at the site, you can call (917) 558-3198.

Happy Fourth of July!

The entire Lenox Hill Democratic Club would like to wish you a very happy Independence Day.

Two hundred and thirty five years ago, our forefathers decreed to the world that our nation would be who recognized that all men are created equal, and a nation dedicated to protecting the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Today we thank those who continue the fight to protect those rights, both at home and overseas.
